I just thought I'd post a couple of instagram photos of my new dahlia: Cafe au Lait
It's a big favourite among frashionable florists, so I looked for it in shops and managed to find it.
I do love it so!
Unfortunately, earwigs love it as well as you can see their bites on the outer petals :(
Have I mentioned I hate earwigs?

Aha ! Am pus si eu in vaza doua " cafele cu lapte " ieri seara :) E tare frumoasa si sper sa imi rasara si la anu' plantuta din tuberculul plantat. Ma bate gandul sa comand vreo zece din Italia, aa ca sa-mi fac de lucru cu daliile. Nu le prea merge bine pe-aici, desi vin din mexic, de la caldura mare, cum s-ar zice. Aplaud buchetele de miez de vara !
